What is it with making everything planned and in order 24/7; we can lose it up a notch. What is the deal if we forgot a doctor appointment, or took a day off from work or school with no reasons but to relax, meditate and spend more time with our family, isn’t that a reason? However, being organized and responsible is, of course, important and if we do otherwise that will be catastrophic, am just saying that we need to be less tense about things or else we will become androids with no social interactions or emotions.
Some people say that they can manage to be robots at work and still have high levels of social communications, and by social they are referring to social networking because they do not have the time to meet up with friends or family even on weekends. Though, maybe that was acceptable when someone is still building up their career, as it is something temporary and then they will be normal humans again.
unfortunately, the majority of people start like that and remain like that for their entire lives, without a doubt those people have an indeed successful career but they got zero social ties with their family and friends.
You should give every aspect in your life its space; you can have priorities but do not overdo on them and lose other noteworthy gears in your life, For instance, give your family all your time during the weekends, do not put them aside for a business call, because people with these traits are skipping so many moments of fondness and affections and one day after achieving the peak of their career dash, they will find no one to celebrate this special occasion with.
Try to educate your kids about the importance of family and friends and how they are as much important as your career goals or maybe more, and after all your family is your real life’s accomplishment that will stay with you forever, unlike work, they will never leave your side because you are getting older.
